University Projects & Work

 

Pulse (Game Creation) (September 2014 – May 2015)

Pulse is a fast paced third person shooter created as a part of a group project at Staffordshire University. My role during this project has been Lead Tech which means Im responsible for the Tech Team, subsection of our group and the over-all framework / technological creation of the game using Unreal Engine 4

 

Cheeky Tiki (Game Creation) (September 2013 – May 2014)

Cheeky Tiki is an isometric objective-based shooter created as a part of a group project at Staffordshire University. My role during this project was Junior Tech, which means I helped script various aspects of the game under the Lead Tech, Overall I was responsible for scripting most of the projectiles and weapons the player could use within the game. Created using Unreal Engine 3 & Uscript

 

Creation of a Networked Framework, with tutorials (Game framework creation) (March 2014 – May 2014)

As a side project, I've made the beginnings of a simple networked framework for a racing game, along with a simple set of tutorials available on my website

 

Project Luna (Game Creation) (November 2014 – May 2015)

As a final year project I created Project Luna -     A networked shooter game, with various networked HUD elements, AI and numerous other features.

Employment History:

 

Freshcod Ltd: The Traditional Plaice (August 2011 – June 2012) –

My role here was a Counter and Kitchen Assistant, My duties for Counter Assistant consisted of serving customers, processing their orders, working the till and training new staff. In this role I was commonly responsible for newer staff, money that goes through the till and keeping the front clean and maintained. My duties as Kitchen Assistant consisted of Food Preparation & Cooking, Food Presentation & serving for customers in the restaurant, cleaning and maintaining high standards of cleanliness around the kitchen and entire venue.  

 

Voluntary Work:

 

Pulse: Youth Group (≃2008 - ≃2010) –

While attending the youth group as I grew older than the general attendee’s I began to help out with the running of it. This included managing the tuck-shop and small hot-food section, managing games for other attendee’s, general maintenance of the hall, organisation of promotional material, and helping out with trips and visits.

 

Grassroots: Chennai Project (March 2009 – June 2009) –

Headed by our local youth group we set out in Farnham Town Centre and Chertsey to help raise money for the Chennai Project. We made vast amount of Chai Tea for the public in hopes we could convince them to donate or give their sponsorship to the project. In total of several weeks of planning and three days of fundraising we managed to raise over £1,500
