Pulse - by Entity
Within the Entity team I was Lead Tech my role includes heading up the tech team, sorting out the framework for the game, helping anyone in the group with any in-engine issues and compiling all versions and builds of the game. But in reality and im sure other leads in these projects feel the same being a lead seems to be all about helping the group out overall.
While creating the base-framework and fixing / fleshing out / creating the main basic mechanics for the game, I also networked the entire game (Including blueprint scripts I hadn't written). It was especially challenging as we've learnt to much from the projects and considering my tech team hadn't touched Unreal Engine 4 before this project it was difficult to get them up to date and make a solid framework at the same time.
Pulse however is a technologically and physically a great game, tech-wise all script has been created in blueprints amongst the 4 of us in the tech team with the majority of the core / complex scripts created by myself and then explained and walked through with my juniors.
I've also been providing the group with a new build which would include various updates (mainly art & bug fixes) every week and by the end of may we'll have a finished, polished game avaliable to download from the university website!
